hibi- wear

I practiced on the wheel so hard! It's called throwing. I learned a lot from my teacher. Finally I made useful hibi-wears!
I really liked this brown cray and green glaze.
Throwing is really fun and It's kind of meditation. I really want to come back to ceramics class sometime soon. I think... I need meditation sometimes :)
Lemon Sage Linguine part 1

I bought fresh lemon sage linguine and garlic basil pesto at Kensington farmer's market. I smelled the linguine and It was fresh and lemony.
I boiled the linguine really carefully because I needed perfect al dente!! The pesto tasted sooooo good. I think I will buy more. I also sauted Mahi Mahi. Fresh squeezed lemon gave a nice kick!

Salmon Clouds
Sesame Spinach

I made this green bowl! I was thinking what kind of food would look good in this bowl....? Then I made typical Japanese spinach salad. This is power food!! Good for your health.
Rinse 1 bunch of spinach. Add a pinch of salt to a pot of boiling water. Put the spinach into the pot and cook for 1 minute and 30 sec. Using a strainer, remove spinach from the pot and shock it in cold water. When the spinach is completely cool, roll the spinach into a log so that the stems and the leaves are on opposite sides.
Sesame sauce
3tbs ground sesame
2tbs soy sauce
3tbs sugar
1tbs sake
Cut spinach about 2 inches each. Combine with sesame sauce.
